About the Band
Formed in 2009, AtteroTerra was initially intended to be a recording side-project for sole member and multi-instrumentalist, Travis Perry, to explore a more aggressive style of music than his band at the time was willing to make.
After his previous band dissolved, and a handful of demo songs had been recorded, members were sought to fill in the roster and take the band on stage. However, after more than a year of cycling through a handful of potential members, Travis indefinitely shelved the idea of AtteroTerra performing live in favor of continuing to write and record a debut album.

In 2011, the self-produced debut album ‘Humanicide Directive’ released amidst multiple relocations and significant life events. Influences from Metallica and Judas Priest, to Cradle of Filth and Amon Amarth were blended together to create a style that incorporates thrash, death, hardcore, melodic, and black metal with apocalyptic lyrical themes.
While recording AtteroTerra’s sophomore album, Travis’s home was burglarized, resulting in the theft of all instruments, amplifiers, and recording equipment, along with most of the family’s possessions. Fortunately, the demos and early recording sessions were left behind, allowing the album’s completion using borrowed and replaced gear. The album, titled ‘Pray for Apocalypse’, was released in August 2016.
AtteroTerra went on hiatus the following year to prioritize the growth and well-being of the Perry family’s new son. Travis has since also stepped back from performing live with bands to ensure greater stability for his family. Although AtteroTerra has resumed activity, family remains Travis’s top priority.
Primary recording for AtteroTerra’s third album, “This Too Shall Pass,” was completed in 2023, with mixing and retracking being done at Funky Jelly Studios (Las Vegas, NV) in the following months. “This Too Shall Pass” was released in August, 2024, and quickly became the most streamed album in AtteroTerra’s discography.
A follow-up EP, “Guillotine” was recorded throughout 2025, once more mixed and mastered at Funky Jelly Studios, and will release in February, 2026. Two singles will proceed the EP’s release in December, 2025, and January, 2026.
