New Cover “Disciple”
I was late to Slayer. I had really only listened to “Seasons in the Abyss” before when I first saw them live, so that was the sound I knew and expected. They opened that show with “Disciple” and I’m not exaggerating when I say it not only changed Slayer as a band for me, but also changed the trajectory of my relationship with metal music.
I’ve recorded covers as AtteroTerra before, but never for broad release. I am extremely happy for “Disciple” to be the first cover I’ve done to be professionally mixed and released to streaming platforms. This song is a colossus, and I hope I’ve done it some semblance of justice.
“Disciple” will be available for streaming everywhere Friday, March 15th, 2024.
