I started playing music with bass. I saw Rammstein’s ‘Live aus Berlin’ (on VHS, because I’m old) and thought “holy shit, I want to do that.” Then, at some point, I fooled myself into believing guitar was more exciting, and pretty much abandoned bass for many years.

Outside a few shining spots, I’m not very happy with the bass on the previous AtteroTerra albums. I think ‘This Too Shall Pass’ has broken that trend for me, and I dig it. A lot. This bass fucks.

I do look forward, however, to reflecting later on these tracks I’m so satisfied with now and thinking “I can do better.”

Time to edit where edits are needed, then onto vocals.
