Drum edits are finally done. That was a mind-numbing process. That said, I’m much happier with the drums than I have been in the past. The cymbals, flams, and especially the fills feel more alive, at least to me.

I ended up starting the final guitar tracking mid-drum-edits just to break up the tedium. I’m only a couple songs in, but feeling good. I decided to abandon the quad-tracking I did for Pray for Apocalypse for a handful of reasons, so hopefully this won’t take quite so long this time around.

I’m positive I’m not alone here, but restringing has to be one of my least favorite parts about being a guitarist.
